Despite extended torrential rain and the allure of the Nelson Giants basketball final (which attracted 3000+ punters), we sold over 300 tickets and many kegs of great beer and cider.
Twisted Hop Poplar Brown was a 'poplar' choice. The night featured beers and ciders from: Croucher’s
(Rotorua), Emerson’s
(Dunedin), Martin Townshend of Townshend's Brewery was our special guest barperson, looking after the real ale and inspiring us all with his love and knowledge of all things beery. Also thanks to the Duncan family of Founders Brewery, without whose help and patience this event would never have been possible - cheers guys! And of course thanks to the bar and security staff - too numerous to mention but you know you are stars...
